A Step Free Route from Tufnell Park Underground to Parliament Hill triangle
This is a step-free route from Tufnell Park Underground Station, to the facilities in Parliament Hill Triangle, including the Parliament Hill Staffyard, café and toilets.

The journey is around 1400 metres. For people who can manage an average walking speed of 4.8 km per hour, this journey could take around 20 minutes. Bear in mind though, that these are estimates only, and that most of these journeys travel up and downhill, and so they may take longer.

1 Tufnell Park underground station exits onto Brecknock Road. Cross over Brecknock Road.

2 Turn right and keep going along Brecknock Road. Cross over Fortess Road. Keep going in the same direction along the road, from here the road is called Dartmouth Park Hill Road. You will need to cross over Burghley Road.

3 The road rises over a railway line, turn left and go along Churchill Road. Stay on the left side. At the end of Churchill Road, the road curves to the right and is then called York Rise. You will need to cross some minor roads along York Rise.

4 Next you come to the intersection of York Rise and Chetwynd Road, turn left to follow Chetwynd Road. Cross over Twisden Road, this road is a crescent so you will cross this road 2 times.

5 You come to a busy intersection at the bottom of Chetwynd Road. Cross over Chetwynd Road.

6 Cross over Highgate Road and turn right. Keep going along Highgate Road. You will need to cross Glenhurst Avenue and Lissenden Gardens, and pass bus stops GE and GF.

7 Just after the next zebra crossing is a turning on the left, it is opposite Croftdown Road, which is on the right side of Highgate Road

8 Follow the turning on the left. This road forks, you will need to take the second of the 3 paths, which leads into Hampstead Heath. On your right side you pass a cottage, followed by petanque and tennis courts.

9 The path meets a wider main path. Turn left and follow the main path.

10 The Parliament Hill triangle facilities are on your left. You come to the toilet building, next to this is the Parliament Hill Staffyard. The cafe is ahead on your right.
