A Step Free Route from Golders Hill Park to Whitestone Pond

This is a step-free route which links between Golders Hill Park café and Whitestone Pond.

  1. The journey is around 700 metres. For people who can manage an average walking speed of 4.8 km per hour, this journey could take around 12 minutes. Bear in mind though, that these are estimates only, and that most of these journeys travel up and downhill, and so they may take longer.

  1. step1

    1 Leave Golders Hill Park from the main gates and come out onto North End Road. Turn right and continue up New North Road.

    2 Cross over Sandy Road. The footpath rises above what is now called North End Way and travels through a wooded area.

    3 At the top of North End Way you come to Jack Straws Castle. Take the pedestrian crossing opposite Jack Straws Castle.

    4 Turn right and follow the path around to the left, with the war memorial on your left.
    Cross over the pedestrian crossing on Spaniards Road and turn left.

    5 The entrance to Hampstead Heath is in front of you on your right.
